TEX DRIVE IN located on the Big Island, in beautiful Honoka'a, which once was a thriving sugar plantation on the Hamakua Coast. We've been serving "ono Kine grindz" (local Hawaiian food), plus other popular menu items, since 1969.

TEX has been published in airline magazines, Sunset Magazine, Bon Apetit' and many other publications, and the restaurant has been featured in numerous venues. So, come join us on the covered open air patio and enjoy the view of the Pacific Ocean with all the sights and sounds of Hawaii! Watch our world famous Malasadas being hand made in our bakery from the viewing window.
